Why Intern Day Matters at KeyPedia
Our interns are based in our Scranton office. This week, we brought them to our primary office in Brooklyn for the day, so they could meet the full team in person and sit in on the work as it happens.
This was KeyPedia's very first Intern Day, and it has become one of the more meaningful days on our calendar. Michael Sacco, James Liparulo and Peyton Fox spent the day inside the room, not observing from a distance. They joined our calls, listened in on meetings, and saw how a regulatory intelligence platform actually gets viewed, decision by decision, signal by signal.
When an intern watches a live discussion about warning letters, inspection records, or enforcement trends, the abstract becomes concrete. The data our customers rely on every morning stops being a spreadsheet and starts being a mission.
It matters to us as a company, too. KeyPedia is building the regulatory intelligence layer for post-market quality and compliance, and that work depends on people who understand the stakes. Bringing early talent into the office, even for a single day, is how we invest in the next generation of that team. It is also how we stay honest about our own culture. If the work does not hold up when someone new is watching closely, we want to know. They help us us much as we help them.
To Michael, James, and Peyton, thank you for making the trip and for the energy you brought to the room. You asked sharp questions and made the team better for it.
