During an FDA inspection, DSM Nutritional Products, LLC, an infant formula pre-mix manufacturer in Schenectady, NY, was cited for a plumbing issue. Pressurized hose nozzles and hose ends were observed stored below the water fill line in sinks within manufacturing production rooms. This condition presents a potential source of contamination to food, water supplies, equipment, and utensils.
