FDA 483 - Gold Star Feed & Grain, LLC - July 15, 2021

Gramco, Inc., an animal feed manufacturer in Springville, NY, received a Form FDA 483 with seven observations during an inspection from July 13-15, 2021. The observations primarily concern inadequate preventive controls for mycotoxins, insufficient hazard analysis, poor storage and inventory control for medicated feeds, and significant sanitation and pest control issues throughout the facility and its grounds. Several observations were repeats from previous inspections, indicating persistent issues with food safety and facility maintenance.
