Shur-Green Farms – FDA 483, Nov 19, 2014

An email dated September 5, 2014, confirmed to a broker that Lascadoil could be used in animal feed. 2. The firm continued to distribute Lascadoil to feed manufacturers despite being notified of contamination. On September 4, 2014, the firm's supplier informed them of an ongoing FDA investigation into Lascadoil-contaminated feed and instructed them to incinerate the product. Subsequently, on September 10, 2014, and September 16, 2014, Shur-Green Farms, LLC sold Lascadoil to a firm that manufactures animal feed.
