China NMPA Drug Inspection - Jiangxi Guoyao Co., Ltd. - Erythromycin enteric-coated tablets

The Ningxia Food and Drug Administration released its Drug Quality Sampling Inspection Information Announcement (No. 15, 2017) on December 7, 2017. This report detailed the results of a region-wide drug sampling program conducted throughout 2017, executed under the '2017 Regional Drug Sampling Inspection Work Plan' by local drug regulatory departments and testing institutions. The comprehensive inspection encompassed 43 different drug varieties, totaling 107 batches. These included chemical drugs, antibiotics, traditional Chinese medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, sourced from numerous manufacturers and distributors, such as China Resources Zizhu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals (China) Co., Ltd., and many others. A key finding of this initiative was that all inspected drug batches were found to be compliant with the established regulatory requirements. The assessments were based on standards like the 'Chinese Pharmacopoeia' (various editions), 'National Food and Drug Administration Standards,' and 'New Drug Approval Standards.' As no quality deviations or issues were identified across any of the tested products, no violations were cited, and consequently, no corrective actions were required for the involved companies or products.
