Guangzhou Baoshiyi Cosmetics Co., Ltd. was subject to an unannounced inspection by the Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration on July 18, 2018. This audit, conducted under the province's supervision and management regulations, encompassed production facilities, storage areas, laboratories, and quality management documentation. The inspection aimed to assess compliance and traceability across several cosmetic products.

Key violations identified included the lack of registration for "Active Peptide Technology Anti-Aging Balancing Water." Production processes were also found to be non-compliant, with weighing activities occurring outside designated functional areas, specifically in the raw material and emulsification rooms. Furthermore, the company could not provide essential production records for "Micro-Skin Revitalizing Moisturizing Essence" (batch 20210322), and "Qi-Balancing Cream" (batch GPT0902A) displayed non-standardized labeling, missing correct manufacturer details.

In response to these findings, Guangzhou Baoshiyi Cosmetics Co., Ltd. has been ordered to implement corrective actions for all identified deficiencies. The case has been transferred to the Baiyun District Bureau of Guangzhou City for ongoing monitoring and follow-up to ensure full regulatory adherence.
