China NMPA Inspection - Guangzhou Zhenghao Cosmetics Co., Ltd. - August 03, 2018

An unannounced inspection by the Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration on July 18, 2018, identified a significant compliance issue at Guangzhou Zhenghao Cosmetics Co., Ltd. Operating under the "Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration's Regulations on Food and Drug Supervision and Management," the inspection covered critical areas such as production workshops, raw material and finished product warehouses, laboratories, and quality management documentation. The inspection also included random checks on the registration and traceability of five products from the Duanli Xueyan series. The primary violation uncovered was that the actual ingredients used in the Duanli Xueyan Clear and Brightening Cleansing Milk (Batch No.: ZH20180602) did not match its officially registered formula. Consequently, Guangzhou Zhenghao Cosmetics Co., Ltd. has been ordered to rectify these problems. The case has been transferred to the Baiyun District Bureau of Guangzhou City for further investigation and appropriate follow-up actions to ensure regulatory adherence.
