The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Drug Administration announced the results of unannounced inspections conducted in June and July 2020 across six cosmetics manufacturers, guided by the "Key Points for Cosmetic Production License Inspection" framework. These inspections aimed to bolster regional cosmetics industry oversight.Key findings indicated varied compliance levels. Guilin Changsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., inspected on June 22, 2020, faced minor issues: an unlabeled expiration date on an indicator solution and missing flow direction indicators on its water purification system. Rectification and submission of materials were mandated within seven days.Four companies—Guangxi Bama Laobagen Health Industry Co., Ltd. (inspected July 17, 2020), Guangxi Fengshan Luzhen Technology Development Co., Ltd. (July 7, 2020), Guangxi Bama Impression Life Experience Industry Co., Ltd. (July 17, 2020), and Guangxi Tongzhiying Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (July 8, 2020)—were found non-operational or closed, with no production occurring during their inspections. Guangxi Bama Laobagen also had an outdated Cosmetic Production License after recent corporate changes. These entities must submit a resumption application and pass an on-site inspection before restarting production.Lastly, Guangxi Xiangzhou County Sisi Qingyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., inspected on July 1, 2020, was cited for an incomplete batch production record, requiring rectification within fifteen days and a subsequent compliance report. These measures highlight the administration's dedication to upholding cosmetic quality and safety standards.
