China NMPA Inspection - Henan Jinyicheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. - May 15, 2018

An unannounced inspection of Henan Jinyicheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was conducted on April 25, 2018, by the National Food and Drug Administration and the Henan Provincial Food and Drug Administration. The inspection, based on the "Key Points for Cosmetic Production License Inspection" framework, revealed nine deficiencies, including two serious violations. Key issues included the company's inability to provide complete batch production records for "Bosihan Henna Hair Nourishing Powder" and the absence of purchase and installation documentation for a high-speed shearing emulsification homogenizer. Additional general deficiencies comprised the lack of inspection records for a semi-finished product, inadequate pest control in the finished product warehouse, and the absence of moisture-proof facilities in the raw material warehouse. Furthermore, production equipment lacked status indicators, finished product samples were not retained, disinfection records for packaging materials were missing, and critical production process records (such as ingredient weighing and batch number printing) were neither found nor verified. Consequently, the Henan Provincial Food and Drug Administration is required to order the company to rectify these problems within a specified period and then report the completion of these corrective actions to the State Food and Drug Administration.
