China NMPA Inspection - Huizhou City, Huiyang District He's Cosmetics Co., Ltd. - December 31, 2020

The Chongqing Municipal Drug Administration announced on December 31, 2019, the identification of a counterfeit cosmetic product, "He's Body Odor Eliminator Concentrate." This discovery resulted from ongoing cosmetics supervision and inspection efforts. The product was found to be falsely labeled with manufacturer details, specifically "Huizhou Huiyang District He's Cosmetics Co., Ltd.," and lacked the mandatory special-purpose cosmetics approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). Chongqing Runjingge Pharmaceutical Sales Co., Ltd. was identified as a distributor of the product.In response to these violations of the "Special Provisions of the State Council on Strengthening the Supervision and Management of Food and Other Product Safety" and the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of Cosmetics Hygiene," the Administration mandated immediate actions. All district and county market supervision bureaus were directed to instruct businesses to cease selling the counterfeit product, thoroughly investigate its procurement channels, impose strict penalties for any illegal conduct, and refer cases potentially involving criminal activity to public security organs. Consumers were also advised to verify NMPA approval numbers for special-purpose cosmetics through official channels to ensure product authenticity.
