The Jiangxi Provincial Drug Administration conducted unannounced inspections of ten cosmetic manufacturers in September 2019 to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, aligning with the regulatory framework emphasizing manufacturers' primary responsibility. Inspections revealed widespread deficiencies across all companies. Jiangxi Haodaifu Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Delitang Industrial Development Co., Ltd. Yifang Daily Chemical Factory, and Jiangxi Kema Cosmetics Co., Ltd. were found to not meet requirements due to 5-6 serious defects and 8-14 general defects each. These three companies received orders to immediately suspend production, with resumption contingent upon verified rectification by the bureau. Other inspected firms, including Jiangxi Yumei Cosmetics Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Alice Daily Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Kangding Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Donghong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Zhongxiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Chumei Cosmetics Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Jinggang Yaofang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., also exhibited various serious or minor deficiencies. Notably, some had incomplete or non-standardized registration documents. These seven companies are required to rectify all identified issues and submit a detailed report to the administration within 30 days. These findings highlight the ongoing regulatory efforts to maintain compliance within the cosmetic manufacturing sector.
