The Jiangsu Provincial Food and Drug Administration conducted unannounced inspections of two cosmetic manufacturers in November 2017, adhering to the 'double random' principle under provincial cosmetic supervision notices and national technical specifications. These inspections, guided by the 'Key Points for Cosmetic Production License Inspection' and the 'Cosmetic Safety Technical Specifications (2015 Edition)', aimed to ensure compliance.

Nantong Qianqian Huijia Chemical Co., Ltd. was inspected on November 23, 2017. Findings included an expired calibration certificate for a pressure gauge and the unregistered status of their 'Jidesheng Baibu Anti-mite and Anti-itch Shower Gel'.

Jiangsu Baiyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was inspected on November 24, 2017. Issues identified were that the registration materials for 'Luruns Ginseng Royal Cream' and 'Luruns Moisturizing Skin Care Glycerin' cited the outdated 'Cosmetic Hygiene Standard (2007 Edition)'. Additionally, the safety assessment report for 'Luruns Ginseng Royal Cream' failed to identify potentially hazardous substances in certain ingredients.

Both companies have been mandated by the Jiangsu Provincial Food and Drug Administration to rectify these deficiencies within a specified timeframe, with the Nantong Municipal Food and Drug Administration responsible for reporting the completion of these corrective actions.
