Several manufacturers notably denied production, indicating potential unauthorized market activity.Operating under the “Cosmetics Hygiene Supervision Regulations” and local administrative penalty guidelines, district branches initiated swift actions. These measures encompassed ordering immediate product removal, conducting on-site inspections, and seizing remaining substandard goods. Penalties consistently involved confiscation of illegal gains and substantial fines, often two to four times the illicit profits. Furthermore, businesses received warnings, were ordered to rectify issues, or faced temporary suspensions of cosmetics operations for periods up to 25 days.
