China NMPA Product Recall - Medical protective masks

Henan Jianqi Medical Device Co., Ltd. initiated a voluntary Level III recall of two batches of its Arch-shaped Medical Protective Masks (batches 20020602B and 20012602B, totaling 14,400 units). The recall was prompted by the discovery that the product sealing did not meet established technical requirements. These issues were reported on April 6 and April 9, 2020, with the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) publishing the recall on April 21, 2020. The affected products were distributed within China. As a corrective action, the company committed to recalling all units from the specified batches from the market. Following the recall, the quality inspection department will re-evaluate the product's performance to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
