Jinhua Jingdi Medical Supplies Co., Ltd. initiated a voluntary Class III recall of its manufactured band-aids (Zhejinxiebei 20150022), with the recall report submitted in August 2017 and publicized in September 2017. The primary reason for the recall was a packaging defect: the instruction manuals accompanying the product omitted critical information, specifically the production address, service hotline, and product technical requirements number. The company emphasized that this issue was solely related to labeling and did not affect the product's performance or compliance with technical specifications. This action was taken to address potential regulatory risks under the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) framework in China. The recall affected specific batches of Sunflower brand high-elasticity comfort bandages, including models 72mm×22mm with batch numbers 20160901 and 20170101. A total of 80 pieces were sold in China.
