The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) announced on May 30, 2022, that three medical equipment companies initiated voluntary product recalls due to identified quality deficiencies. Lanjiatang Biomedical (Fujian) Co., Ltd. is recalling a batch (OUM200907) of its disposable medical masks after sampling inspections revealed breathing resistance levels exceeded standard requirements. This is classified as a Level III recall. Salcomp (Fujian) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is voluntarily recalling a batch (2020070201) of disposable medical protective clothing. The recall was prompted by sampling inspection results indicating that the product failed to meet the specified tensile strength standards. Additionally, Fuding Kangfu Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. initiated a voluntary recall for a batch (20201203) of its medical absorbent cotton. This action followed sampling inspections that determined the product did not comply with technical requirements concerning fluorescent substances. Each company is taking required action by recalling the affected product batches, as detailed in their respective recall reports.
