FDA WARNING_LETTER - Anatolli Larionov - May 16, 2011

The FDA issued a Warning Letter to Anatolli Larionov on May 16, 2011, following a review of websites http://www.cigdot.com, http://www.fast-cigarettes.com, http://www.tobaccochest.com, http://www.cigbuynow.com, and http://www.cigbuynow.net, which offer cigarette products for sale to U.S. customers.

The FDA determined that several cigarette products are adulterated under section 902(8) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387b(8)) because they are promoted as modified risk tobacco products (e.g., "light," "super light," "ultra light," "extra light") without an FDA order. Examples include "Bond Special Selection (Lights)" and "Marlboro Gold (Lights)."

Additionally, Marlboro Fresh Mint, Marlboro Crisp Mint, and Sobranie Mints cigarettes are adulterated under section 902(5) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387b(5)) for containing prohibited characterizing flavors (other than tobacco or menthol), or misbranded under section 903(a)(1) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387c(a)(1))
