FDA WARNING_LETTER - Bonds of Oxford Street Ltd

The FDA issued a Warning Letter to Hitan Savla regarding violations found on the website http://www.bondsoflondon.com, which offers tobacco products for sale in the United States. The FDA determined that cigarette tobacco and/or roll-your-own tobacco products, including "Auld Kendal," are offered, meeting the definitions under the FD&C Act.

Several products are deemed adulterated as "modified risk tobacco products" under section 902(8) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387b(8)) because they are sold with descriptors like "mild" (e.g., Tor Oriental Blend, Auld Kendal Golden Cherry Brandy) without an FDA order. This violates section 911(a) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387k(a)).

Additionally, numerous cigarette, cigarette tobacco, and/or roll-your-own tobacco products (e.g., Black Devil Special Flavour, Djarum Menthol Flavoured Clove, Auld Kendal Handrolling Golden Vanilla) are adulterated under section 902(5) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 387b(5)) for purporting to contain characterizing flavors, violating section 907(a)(1)(A) of the FD&C Act
