FDA WARNING_LETTER - Colloidal Vitality LLC/Vital Silver - March 06, 2020

On March 6, 2020, the FDA and FTC issued a Warning Letter to Colloidal Vitality LLC, specifically Jennifer Hickman, regarding the sale of unapproved and misbranded products related to COVID-19. The agencies reviewed the company's websites, www.purevitalsilver.com and www.facebook.com/purevitalsilver, in February 2020.

The FDA determined that the essential oil products offered for sale were intended to mitigate, prevent, treat, cure, or diagnose COVID-19 in people, making them unapproved new drugs sold in violation of section 505(a) of the FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. 355(a)).
