FDA WARNING_LETTER - Ric Deleon

The FDA issued a Warning Letter to the operators of 247meds.com, 24-7pills.com, 24-7rx.com, and bestdealrx.com for offering violative drug products for sale. The products include "Acomplia (Generic)," "Acomplia (Brand)," "Rimonabant," "Herbal Xanax," "Herbal Ambien," "Herbal Viagra," "Viagra (Brand)," "Xanax (Brand)," and "Valium (Brand)."

These products are deemed "unapproved new drugs" under Section 201(p) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 321(p), because they lack FDA-approved applications for safety and effectiveness. Specifically, Rimonabant (Acomplia) was rejected by the FDA due to safety concerns. "Herbal" versions of approved drugs like Xanax, Ambien, and Viagra are also considered unapproved new drugs. The sale of these products without approved applications violates Sections 301(d) and 505(a) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. §§ 331(d) and 355(a).

Furthermore, several products, including "Viagra (Brand)," "Xanax (Brand)," and "Valium (Brand)," are "misbranded" under Section
