China NMPA Drug Inspection - Qinghai Jiukang Traditional Chinese Medicine Pieces Co., Ltd. - Scutellaria baicalensis

On March 5, 2020, the Qinghai Provincial Drug Administration published its second announcement regarding drug sampling inspections for the year, focusing on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) decoction pieces used for COVID-19 prevention and control. The inspections covered 24 varieties and 24 batches of products from several manufacturers, including Qinghai Jiukang Traditional Chinese Medicine Pieces Co., Ltd., Hunan Songlingtang Traditional Chinese Medicine Pieces Co., Ltd., Henan Huiantang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Anguo Shenhao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Tongwei County Tongguang Medicinal Materials Co., Ltd. Conducted under the authority of the Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China and the Administrative Measures for Drug Quality Sampling Inspection, the samples were evaluated against the 2015 Edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The results showed that all 24 batches met the required quality standards. Since no violations or quality issues were identified during this inspection cycle, the administration reported no negative findings and required no corrective actions or further measures from the companies involved. This report confirms the regulatory compliance of the sampled TCM products during the specified period.
