FDA WARNING_LETTER - Vibrant Life - May 31, 2013

On August 7, 2013, the FDA issued a Warning Letter to Vibrant Life Vitamins, specifically addressing Clifford Woods, regarding products promoted on multiple websites and a Facebook page. The FDA reviewed the websites (www.oralchelation.com, www.ChelationTherapyOnline.com, www.arthritisinformation.net, www.vibrantlifemsm.com, www.vibrantlifenews.com, www.bulkmsm.com, and www.heart-disease-bypass-surgery.com) in April 2013 and the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/oralchelation) in May 2013.

The FDA determined that products including Life Glow Plus, Super Life Glow, Life Glow Basic, Taheebo Life Tea, Vibrant Life MSM, Herbal MSM, and Organic Germanium are promoted with therapeutic claims that classify them as drugs under section 201(g)(1)(B) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) [21 U.S.C. § 321(g)(1)(B)]. These claims, found on product pages, testimonials, and metatags, suggest the products are intended for the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and various infections.
